As we continue to expand our design team, we are seeking a talented and motivated Junior UX/UI Designer to join us.

You will join a young team of enthousiastic designers that is part of the worldwide EY IXD (Innovation & Experience Design) collective. The collective holds 1500+ professionals across 20+ countries in the fields of customer centric design, digital product and service design, engineering and delivery.

Through our combined expertise, we strengthen organizations and provide their teams with the knowledge, tools, and energy they need to move forward. We help organizations define objectives and the company strategy, design the future, and shape reality.
With our heads in the clouds and our feet on the ground. Our VODW department consists of business strategists, designers, technologists, data scientists, and transformation specialists who, together with colleagues in other countries, shape the global EY Design and Engineering collective.
Responsibilities - How can you make a lasting impact in a rapidly changing world?
You will
• Work closely with our team of designers, developers, and business consultants to create engaging and intuitive user experiences for our clients' digital products and platforms.
• Have the opportunity to contribute to all stages of the design process, from research and concept development to prototyping and implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and user needs.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize design concepts.
• Iterate on designs based on feedback and user testing results.
• Work closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX/UI design.
Job requirements - Where do you start if you want to change the world?
You have
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
• 0 - 2 years of working experience. A relevant internship is an advantage.
• Strong portfolio or thesis project showcasing UX/UI design projects and process.
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma.
• Basic understanding of front-end development
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic team environment .
• Fluent in English (both written and verbal) and Fluent in Dutch (both written and verbal)
What we offer - Is everything that counts being counted?

• Flexible working: you decide where and when you work in consultation with your team. At home, at the office, at the client's location, or from another European country (up to 20 working days per year)
• Salary: in addition to your fixed salary, depending on EY's financial performance, you may be eligible for a bonus. You are also entitled to an expense allowance (depending on the position) and an internet allowance of €40 net per month
• Time off: you are entitled to 29 vacation days per year when full-time employed and you have the option to purchase additional days.
• Training and education: EY believes it's important to provide everyone with the opportunity for continuous development. Therefore, we offer various soft and hard skills training programs, external courses, and the possibility to enroll in additional education. For example, you can obtain an MBA to broaden your skills in leadership, business, and tech
• Mobility: contribute directly to our ambition to reduce EY's carbon footprint to zero by 2025. With the new scheme, you can choose from diverse sustainable options through the EY My Daily Travel app or online platform. This includes lease bicycles, electric shared scooters, electric shared cars, flexible lease cars, and various subscriptions for public transport. You can also track your CO2 footprint using the app
