What are you going to do?
As a developer at Nova Technology, you create the coolest FinTech applications that perfectly match the working methods of your colleagues at the other companies in the group. You will, initially, work on the frontend of our new SaaS app that is developed in Angular on its own cloud-native GraphQL backend.
This work consists, among other things, of translating existing functionality to the new backend API. After completing this project, you will develop new features and user experience elements, but you will also ensure maintenance of existing components.
As a frontend developer, you work closely with our backend developers and our tech lead to develop a product that works as smoothly as possible.
Within the team of developers, the lines of communication are short and combined with the expertise of your colleagues, we ensure that you can grow quickly with us. Of course, doing fun activities together is also part of this!
Our stack
We build our products in a modern cloud-native stack where we use cloud services as effectively as possible. We therefore use services from our cloud provider so that we do not have to reinvent the wheel ourselves. The frontend is written in Angular and hosted on AWS using Docker containers in ECS.
The backend is accessed via a GraphQL API that we build based on AWS AppSync. Our data is located in a modern key-value pair database and is accessed using Lambdas. The infrastructure-as code is written by the backenders in Python with CDK. So we are working on a serverless, cloud-native and data-driven SaaS app.

• You have concrete experience with frontend development in a modern JavaScript framework in a professional environment.
• You have experience consuming REST or GraphQL APIs.
