Plant (cost) controller
40 uur M/V
ROLE
The position of Cost controller is currently vacant with full responsibility for industrial and cost accounting to support managerial decision making in operations, internal and group reporting, cost control, savings and inventory control. The Cost controller reports to the Manager Industrial (Trendy department).
You also work closely with the operational director of Tilburg
You also manage the accounting team (2 administrative employees and the Financial controller). In this role you have a link with the Accounting manager for the Benelux who is ultimately responsible for the accounting team.
TASKS
• Operations performance dashboard;
• Calculate and maintain standard cost prices including P&L for sales department;
• Measure, review, analyse and challenge the productivity and yield in production;
• Period end closing activities (produce and analysis of P&L);
• Managing and support the accounting team;
• Group reporting on variances and margins;
• Forecast and Budgeting;
• Continuous improvement and cost savings; LEAN;
• Liaison with peers in LFF group for uniformity, synergies and benchmarking;
• NPD / Innovation support;
• Audit support (Administrative) control of the flow of goods, inventory raw materials and packaging;
• AO / IC;
• Various ad-hoc activities.
COMPETENCIES

• Be on the shop floor
• Ability to easily connect with other disciplines

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
• Languages Dutch and English minimum; French is a plus
• Bachelor + educational level
• Relevant experience, preferably in food production / manufacturing
• Relatively close proximity to Tilburg
• Willingness to do some limited travel to meet with colleagues in other countries
Compensation and benefits:
• Maximum 60K - 70K EUR annual (all incl.)
• Travel allowance based on commuting
distance, maximum 130 EUR per month
• 25 vacation days
• Other benefits conform market
