We are looking for an enthusiastic Meeting & Events Executive for our hotel
Will you help us?
Making quotations & confirmations, requesting follow-up, planning rooms and thinking along for the various meetings in our beautiful hotel. Varying from small meetings to congresses, receptions and large dinners or, for example, a wedding.
During a 'site inspection' you tell options and note the wishes of the customer. There is a lot of room in this position for your own initiative on an organizational, creative and culinary level.
You consult with the Meeting & Events manager, operations manager and the chef of the kitchen and you are careful in drawing up quotations.
As a Meeting and Events Executive, you are above all involved in preparing events.
In the base you work from Monday to Friday, but it is expected that you will occasionally also be present during the weekend at very large events. Because it is of course great fun to occasionally speak to the contact person at an event in which you were closely involved.
It is precisely this personal approach and involvement that makes The Anthony unique and is appreciated by colleagues and the client.
The further implementation is taken care of by our operational department. Aftersales, evaluation and receiving points for improvement after the meeting are part of the weekly tasks.
Tasks and responsibilities
• Selling and coordinating event & meeting requests;
• Selling and coordinating room only bookings up to and including after sales;
• Request wedding;
• Together with the commercial team, achieving the set budgets for groups and events;
• Ensuring accurate task lists and administration of own groups and events;
• Clearly communicate information from groups to other departments to ensure that events run smoothly;
• Giving tours / site inspections to (potential) customers.
Competences
• structured;
• Strong communication skills;
• Multi-tasker;
• Strong affinity with hospitality;
• Commercially driven;
• Stress resistant;
• Available for a minimum of four days;
• Afgeronde MBO/ HBO opleiding of vergelijkbare werkervaring.
Experience/ Availability
• Experience is not necessary. Enthusiasm is;
• This job is available for 4 or 5 days
