At Zurich Insurance Benelux we are now looking for an energetic and positive person to take on the position as Team Lead Underwriting Services Domestic for our Underwriting Services Specialists in The Netherlands. The Underwriting Services (UWS) Team is responsible for the insurance administration processes (policy issuing, invoicing, etc.). Underwriting Services is a key component of the Zurich Insurance Benelux value proposition.
In the Benelux, Zurich Insurance is a specialized insurance company within non-life insurance for both local and international businesses.

This is a fulltime hybrid position where you will be working from our office in The Hague in the Netherlands.

Key Accountabilities

In this role you are responsible for the service delivery for the Domestic segment in the Netherlands, with some international components. You will a team of ~10 FTEs. Additionally, you will be supporting the strategic directions for UWS in the Benelux.
In this role you will report to the Head of UWS & IPZ Benelux.

Leadership
 •  Lead, coach, and motivate your team of direct reports in their day to day work.
 •  Install an environment of employee development, recognition and reward.
 •  Be on the lookout for the constant improvement of end to end Customer experience processes.
 •  Actively participate in improvement initiatives linked to UWS
 •  Work closely with the other team leaders and departments to contribute to our business goals.
 •  Responsible for governance including risk identification/mitigation, audit, customer outcomes, complaints, breaches and quality frameworks.

Service Delivery
 •  Ensuring delivery of excellent service within expected time frames; optimal customer service through adherence to the Zurich guidelines.
 •  Responsible for team performance against quality and service delivery KPIs;
 •  Build relationships with customers/brokers to resolve obstacles and solicitate candid feedback on services.
 •  Take personal responsibility for resolving complex issues using commercial and business awareness
 •  Drive process improvements and align processes with Belgium.

Skills & Qualifications
 •  Minimum a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
 •  Minimum a WfT schade certificate
 •  Minimum 5 years of team management experience in an insurance company/broker in a market-facing, customer service role.
 •  Experience with National Insurance processes & Market with a strong track record of delivery/execution focus.
 •  Ability to navigate ambiguity and manage change.
 •  Strong focus on customer centricity and creating a positive customer experience.
 •  Good computer skills, Excel & PowerPoint.
 •  Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English.
