As a real estate specialist, you serve real estate investors in your region through various channels (face-to-face, via call and social media) and across the full spectrum. The goal is to help these real estate investors be successful and positively surprise them with your expertise every time.
You regularly visit real estate investors and work alternately from an advisory branch and from home.

Together with the other advisers (Hypotheken, Business Banking, Kantoren, Private Banking and Debt Advisors) you are the face of ING in the market. Since you have product responsibility for the real estate network in the region, you favour setting up and maintaining good relationships that help achieve the targets.
As an adviser, rather than serving a fixed customer portfolio, you have end-to-end responsibility for loan applications between 1 and 3 million.

We are looking for a Real Estate Specialist for the North-East region with an active network and who preferably lives in the North-East region.

Specific tasks and responsibilities

As a reputable and proactive specialist in lending for small professional real estate investors, you are dedicated to provide expert guidance and fostering strong relationships within the market. With a transaction-focused approach and a focus on generating leads and facilitating financing opportunities, your role as the deal captain involves working closely with various stakeholders to ensure seamless transactions and customer satisfaction.

Market Visibility and Proactive Approach:

 •  As a recognized expert in real estate lending, I actively engage with the market, establishing a strong presence and visibility.
 •  Proactively reaching out to potential clients, I generate leads and connect them with relevant ING segments, relationship managers, and advisors to meet their financing requirements.

Deal Captain for Financing Transactions:

 •  I serve as the primary point of contact for real estate investors seeking financing between 1 million and 3 million in a specific region.
 •  Taking on the role of deal captain, I oversee the entire transaction process, ensuring smooth coordination and effective communication among all parties involved.

Collaborative Stakeholder Management:

 •  I collaborate extensively with sales colleagues at regional offices, remote advisors, and internal colleagues from different departments involved in real estate financing.
 •  Through active stakeholder management, I foster collaboration, ensuring a seamless experience for customers and aligning customer interests with the bank's interests while upholding a duty of care.

Continuous Improvement and Development:

 •  Identifying bottlenecks and areas for improvement, I strive to enhance our services and processes, contributing to the continuous improvement of the real estate financing operations.
 •  I stay updated with the latest developments in the field, taking the initiative to continually improve my expertise and knowledge.

Furthermore, you have:

 •  Fluent in the Dutch and English language
 •  Proven experience in providing and managing real estate financing for personal and SME customers
 •  You are sales-focused and entrepreneurial
 •  Experience in writing (business) credit proposals or proven experience with carrying out financial analyses
 •  You are a good multitasker: you work on different financing requests every day
 •  A Higher Professional Education (HBO) level of professional and intellectual ability
 •  Knowledge of SME credit products and banking services
 •  A keen eye for developments in the SME sector
 •  Find it easy to communicate with all levels of the organization
