YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to expand our team in Roosendaal! As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for a specific logistics process at our site in Roosendaal, in this case, Inbound. In this supervisory role, you and your team are continuously looking for ways to optimize work processes while ensuring the highest levels of safety, quality, and productivity.
Additionally, you have an eye for anomalies or deviations in the processes you are familiar with from A to Z and initiate improvements in coordination with the Operations Manager.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

The customer you serve is an e-commerce customer with merchandise from a well-known entertainment brand. From our warehouse in Roosendaal, we deliver orders to various addresses throughout Europe! Naturally, this customer has a peak season in the months of October, November, and December.
During this time, we will need to increase our staff from 50 to around 300 people.

Specifically, in this role, you are responsible for:

 •  Organizing and supervising your team (15-30 FTE, supported by two assistant supervisors) to achieve the set safety standards, quality, and productivity;
 •  Planning, coordinating, and monitoring warehouse activities aimed at providing the highest quality of service to the customer;
 •  Identifying deviations regarding productivity or quality levels;
 •  Continuously improving your team/department and participating in projects aimed at improving the organization and our processes;
 •  Reporting on actual personnel, equipment, and resource utilization and advising the Contract Manager accordingly.

Our warehouse operates from 05:30-18:00, and during the peak season, we will work in shifts from 06:00-15:00 and from 15:00-00:00.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for a proactive and driven colleague who works independently and has a strong sense of responsibility. You are socially adept and have strong communication skills, enabling you to lead a team of people effectively. You are flexible regarding the diverse approaches needed by individuals in your team to achieve the desired results.
Additionally, you are resilient to stress and have a mindset focused on continuous improvement. You understand what our customer needs and address it directly with your team.

You bring the following knowledge and experience:

 •  Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within a logistics environment;
 •  Knowledge of procedures and processes within a warehouse;
 •  Good command of the Dutch and English language;
 •  Flexibility in working hours and willingness to pitch in wherever needed within the team.
