As a part of this we are looking for
Wärtsilä Shaft Line Solutions (SLS) is looking for experienced Sales Support to join our EUAF Sales Team. You will be active member in our Sales Team and working together with SLS Sites, Sales Support and Field Service team to ensure first class customer experience.
You will be responsible for sales support functions for commercial and naval marine business in Benelux area. In this position you are reporting to Sales Support Manager, and you are preferably located in Schiedam or near other Wartsila office in The Netherlands.
Your main responsibilities are:
• Generate customer specific solutions, specifications and quotations according to needs of Sales, for SLS portfolio for New Build and Aftermarket business
• Bid management
• Evaluate inquires and register/maintain opportunity information in CRM
• Configure solution according to defined needs
• Preparing cost calculations according to directives and agreed targets
• Evaluate technical and environmental risks of the solution.
• Ensure that response time for sales inquiries / request /orders are met.
• Perform technical assistance to Sales and customers.
• Participate in relevant sales meetings with customers when required.
• Publishing sales materials
• Organise a hand over meeting with involved parties
Main requirements in this role are:
• You are passionate about SLS business and willing to drive it to the next level
• Advanced experience in Marine Industry
• Ability to work in multicultural / international business environment
• Self-driven and self-motivated
• Continuous learning ability
• Openness & willingness to adapt
• Willing to travel to meet customers when requested
• Proficient negotiation skills
• Customer orientation
• Wartsila SLS product & system knowledge is a plus
• Knowledge of Marine Industry
• Familiar with using of Microsoft WORD/ EXCEL/ PPT/ CRM / AUTOCAD / SAP
• Fluent in Dutch and English language

• KPI's set by General Manager, Sales
