PhD candidates or Postdocs
Are you looking for an exciting challenge in the field of thermoplastic composite materials?
We are seeking motivated PhD candidates or postdoctoral researchers with a background in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics or Chemistry, who are looking for an exciting challenge in the field of composite materials. Affinity with experimental work and/or process modeling of thermoplastic composites is an advantage.
Profound knowledge of the English language is required.
What we offer
The assignments at the TPRC typically concern a combination of physical modeling (e.g. process modeling of the fiber placement or press-forming process) and non-standard experimental characterization. The time frame for PhDs and Postdoc projects are four and two years respectively. Our industrial partners will be closely involved in the project. The following is offered to PhD candidates and Postdocs:
• Work in a well-equipped state-of-the-art composites laboratory.
• Research on high-tech thermoplastic composite materials and the newest processing and characterization technologies.
• Collaboration with experts from industry and leading research centers.
• Work together with a highly motivated young team of experts.
