About the Role:
We seek a skilled Senior Campaign Developer who can also work as a Backend Developer to join our client´s team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in both the technical realization and strategic execution of campaigns for our clients.
You'll collaborate closely with e-mail marketers, providing expertise on database structure and campaign options, while having the autonomy to devise and execute email campaigns independently.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with e-mail marketers to devise and technically realize effective campaign strategies.
• Guide database structure and campaign options to optimize campaign performance.
• Independently develop and execute email campaigns for clients, ensuring technical accuracy and efficiency.
• Work alongside colleagues to devise and implement complex campaign flows.
• Personalize emails and landing pages using scripting languages within the marketing platform's template engine.
Requirements
• Proven experience as a Campaign Developer and Backend Developer.
• Proficiency in scripting languages for email personalization and campaign automation.
• Strong understanding of database structure and optimization techniques.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to advise and guide e-mail marketers effectively.
Ideal Candidate:
• A campaign developer with a love for backend work;
• Fluency in Dutch is highly required
• You have analytical skills and flexibility;
• Experience with SQL (stored procedures is an advantage);
• You have several years of experience;
• Experience in one or more of the following email software: Selligent, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics, Marketo, or other similar systems;
• Good at data management and creating personalized segments;
• Experience with creating responsive design for e-mail and web pages in HTML/CSS (a bonus);
• Programming skills in one or more of the following languages: PHP, Python, or C#, and experience in working within a LAMP environment (a bonus).
