About The Job
Do you want to be the technical heart and brain of our company and are you looking for dynamic international projects? Then you are the Structural Engineer we are looking for! You are the technical heart and brain of the project team. You work closely together with the Project engineer and the CAD-Engineer to find the best solution on challenging projects. A few focus points are:
• Design solutions for challenging (lifting) jobs all over the world
• Design 3D models and 2D layouts of lifting solutions and structures
• Create, evaluate and adjust a design
• Create design and analysis reports
• Create calculation and FEM models
• Create standard calculation sheets
• Ensure that the design or operation is safe, feasible and economic
About You
To be successful as a Structural Engineer within Conbit we are looking for a candidate who has strong negotiation skills, a good technical insight and who is striving for the best results. Next to that you recognize yourself in the following points:
• HBO(Bachelor's degree) in either structural, mechanical engineering
• 4+ years of experience as mechanical/structural engineer
(in offshore or heavy lift industry)
• Excellent oral and written English skills
• Preferably 3D modelling skills and 2D layout skills
• Knowledge of tolerances, fabrication and constructability
• Designing skills
• Calculation and FEM- Analysis skills
• Analytical, responsible team player
Benefits
• €3.200,- / €4.500,- gross monthly salary (depending on experience)
• Dynamic work environment
• 30 days of holiday based on a 40 hour workweek
• Pension agreement with limited support from the employee
• Possibility to follow external course / training
