As a Junior Model Validator you validate models and get to learn about models, model implementation, data and governance. Model validations are always done with at least 2 people involved.

De afdeling
The model validation team consists of a team of 9 people at group and 3 people dedicated to Achmea Bank. We all have a quantitative background. We work closely together and unlike many teams within Achmea we mainly speak English with each other.
Model Validation is part of Risk Management and has a direct escalation line to our CRO.
Jouw achtergrond
• You have a master's degree with an economic or quantitative profile;
• You have experience with programming (for example R or python);
• You prefarably have some experience in the field of Model Development or Model Validation;
• You are eager to learn and develop yourself.
As a model validator you deal with different models and different stakeholders for each model validation. You are a little stubborn and will learn to review a model independently and defend your point of view, even if it's different, towards the model owners, senior management and your other colleagues.
