Are you a hands-on professional with a fervor for operational management? As a QHSE campus engineer you will play a pivotal role in addressing practical challenges on the campus. Furthermore, your responsibilities will extend to ensuring robust Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) management practices across the campus.

• Manage transportation processes and ensure compliance with cargo standards.
• Conduct inductions for new employees and actively participate in management reviews.
• Oversee site and QHSE management, including ongoing projects on the campus.
• Monitor work meetings and resolve design-related problems.
• Provide customer-focused facility services, including managing construction sites, daily activities, and logistics.
• Conduct incident investigations.
• Participate in safety initiatives and collaborate in a dynamic environment where you closely collaborate with different DEME departments.
• You enjoy practical interaction with your colleagues and the workplace.
• Proficiency in solving various operational challenges.
• Background as a safety coordinator in construction is a big plus.
• You are a professional proficient in both Dutch and English.
• You're open to working on the DEME HQ campus in Zwijndrecht.

Within DEME, the Internal Audit team conducts audit engagements following a risk-based audit plan and reports the result of these assessments to the Audit as well as the Executive Committee.
Under the supervision of the Internal Audit Director, you execute the different audit engagement steps: preparation, audit fieldwork and reporting.

As a Project Controls Engineer, you will provide support for a project from contract award up to close. You are the one that plans the work and keeps an overview of the overall progress. Implementing tools and processes challenge you and you make sure that this implementation goes smoothly.
Project Management Systems do not have any secrets for you. You understand core project controls knowledge areas (scheduling, risk management, cost control, project information management). Thinking out of the box and using innovative ways to improve the business processes are key elements in this job.
