In this role, you have the opportunity to define user experience for mobile, desktop and embedded software products through working on a state-of-the-art Design System: translating business requirements and user needs into frameworks, guidelines, toolkits and common assets for software that delights our consumer and professional end users.
You apply a systems thinking approach to design and deliver superior experiences and interactions that work at the micro and macro levels. Your experience of working in cross-functional teams, in combination with your knowledge of industry standards and heuristics, allows you to efficiently deliver qualitative and scalable solutions to be used in our websites, software applications, and digital devices.
Your role:
• Performing and making use of user research methods, for example human centered design, to understand people, needs, context of use, and domain and translate these into compelling design solutions.
• Designing solutions that meet user needs in collaboration with the product teams in the businesses, including key functions, such as: marketing, domain experts, usability experts, engineering, while ensuring user and customer feedback, accessibility, and usability standards are taken into consideration.
• Designing solutions that are in-line with brand guidelines and advance our Design Language System (DLS), and result in a superior and recognizable experiences.
• Connecting, collaborating, sharing, and aligning solutions with others by communicating design decisions. For example, by using use cases, information architecture, User Interface (UI) concepts, prototypes, test results, and visual design specifications.
• Managing stakeholder expectations, having an inclusive mindset, applying UI standards, contributing to knowledge growth, and embrace UI innovations that contribute to an improved user experience.

Your peers in Philips Experience Design will include product, communications, design research, design technologists and developers, design strategy, service design, and program management.
You're the right fit if :
You have a Bachelor or Master degree in Interaction, Service or Industrial Design.
You a minimum of 3 years relevant interaction design experience in one or more specific business domains.
You are passionate about innovation, user interface design and overall user experience
You have an affection with healthcare and personal health
You have a strong aesthetic and visual sensitivity
Experience in creating and maintaining a design system at scale across a diverse portfolio
Expertise and talent in interaction design and visual design as well as for your specific competency, knowledge and capability.
Experience in using the following tools: Figma, GitHub/ADS, Miro, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office tools.
