Supplychain coördinator

For our client, a leading international organization in the chemical industry, we are looking for a Supply Chain coordinator Europe. In this strategic leadership role, you will be responsible for driving and optimizing end-to-end supply chain operations across the European region.You will lead a dedicated team, collaborate with global stakeholders, and play a key role in delivering exceptional customer satisfaction while improving operational efficiency.
What are you going to do?
As Supply Chain coordinator/manager Europe, you will: Develop and implement the regional supply chain strategy aligned with global business objectives. Lead and coordinate supply chain activities across Europe, including order management, inventory management, replenishment planning, and demand planning.Ensure accurate and timely customer order fulfillment and maintain high service levels. Build strong relationships with key customers and proactively address their needs and expectations. Participate in the global Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process and develop regional demand forecasts.
Monitor supply chain performance using KPIs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost optimization. Manage inventory levels and oversee replenishment planning to ensure product availability. Coordinate logistics operations, storage facilities, and distribution activities across the region.
Lead supply chain improvement projects, process harmonization initiatives, and digital transformation programs. Manage and develop a regional supply chain team through coaching, mentoring, and performance management. Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL/LSPs) and drive service excellence through performance monitoring and continuous improvement

What do we ask?- 3–5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Customer Service, or Operations within an international business environment.
- Experience in customer order management within a SAP environment.
- Good understanding of customs compliance, taxation, shipping processes, and international logistics.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
- Experience in the chemical industry or other process industries is an advantage.
- Knowledge of bulk liquid logistics, warehousing, transportation, and distribution processes.
- Familiarity with third-party logistics providers (3PL/LSPs) and performance management.
- Experience with Advanced Planning Systems (APS) and digital supply chain tools is considered a plus.
- Exposure to inventory planning, demand planning, and S&OP processes.
