At HEINEKEN International, we’re on the lookout for a curious, creative, and hands-on intern to join our Executive & Employee Communications Hub. This is your chance to dive into the world of internal comms at a global scale, gain real experience across diverse functions, and help shape how we connect with our people around the world.All from the heart of Amsterdam, with a fresh perspective and ‘a cold one’ never too far away.
What you’ll do
As our intern, you’ll support the development and delivery of integrated communications for our global Finance & CSRD function, and gain exposure to communication projects for other global functions — including People, Digital & Technology, Supply Chain, and Procurement, by:
- Creating content for internal and external channels
- Supporting internal campaigns and storytelling that bring our EverGreen strategy to life in meaningful ways
- Helping organise impactful events — from global Town Halls to local Head Office moments — that connect leaders and employees
- Contributing to editorial planning and content creation across a wide range of strategic topics and formats
- Collaborating with stakeholders across functions to ensure communications are aligned, relevant, and drive engagement
- Serving as roving reporter to unearth and tell some exciting stories about our business, this includes recording videos and editing.

The unique you
You are a curious and creative communicator who thrives in a dynamic, people-focused environment. You bring:
- A background in communications, marketing or media
- Fluency in English (Dutch is a plus!)
- Strong writing skills and the ability to adapt tone for different audiences
- Digitally confident - you're quick to pick up new tools and comfortable working with platforms like Canva, video editing software, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office.
- A proactive, organized mindset - you take initiative and get things done
- A strategic eye for how communication supports business goals, builds culture, and connects people across functions
- A €650 gross monthly internship allowance (based on 40 hours/week)
- 2 vacation days per month
- Full reimbursement of commuting costs if you don’t have a student OV card
- A hybrid working setup, but we believe the best ideas happen when we connect in real life
- You are enrolled at an educational institution.
- In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution, from which we receive proof of enrolment for the current academic year from you.
- In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.
- Living in the Netherlands during internship (HEINEKEN does not facilitate housing).
