Senior Commercial Strategy Manager

The Commercial Strategy team within FinTech is supporting that ambition by driving new financial products and transformational projects that reduce such financial frictions from an initial idea to go-live.
This role requires close coordination with cross-functional stakeholders—both internal and external—as you move initiatives from ideation through investment case approval, development, and launch. You will need to be able to navigate ambiguity, lead with data and structure, and influence across teams.With FinTech at the intersection of financial services and technology, some experience in both domains is highly valued. Key Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Craft and articulate a holistic narrative connecting company vision, strategic direction, and transformation initiatives across the FinTech portfolio.
- Drive high-impact strategic solutions through a combination of strategic thinking, analytical depth, and stakeholder collaboration
- Lead strategic initiatives or transformations, along both short and long-term implementation roadmaps and clearly defined deliverables.
- Independently craft compelling narratives and adapt communication style for diverse audiences, ensuring clarity and impact.
- Present strategically sound information (written and oral) customized to the seniority of the organization, including aligning with senior leaders.
- Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, to gain buy-in and drive alignment
- Build broad organizational influence, developing connections that expand the reach and strategic impact of the team’s work
- Guide teams and workstreams to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (product, technology, operations, legal, etc.) to ensure smooth execution.
- Shape the mid-term vision and structure of the team, helping to define and drive what great looks like.
- Manage, guide, coach and develop a team of strategy associates.
- Solid expertise in financial services or payments, ideally within FinTech
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in similar areas, including team management skills
- Experience in either strategy consulting or strategic role in Tech
- Experience in managing individual contributors
- Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Business case creation and refinement
- Ability to explain difficult concepts in simplified terms
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to work with ambiguity in fast changing environment
