Within our Northern Europe Region - spanning the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, and the UK - we own and manage eight exceptional assets. These include Westfield Mall of the Netherlands, Stadshart Amstelveen, Westfield London, and Westfield Stratford City.
The Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing tenant coordination during the fit‑out of retail units within Westfield Mall of the Netherlands (WMON), while also supporting Stadshart Amstelveen (AMS) when required. Acting as the primary point of contact for tenants and internal stakeholders, you will ensure full compliance with URW's construction, technical, and safety standards.This role blends Tenant Coordination and Construction Management, with a strong focus on technical assessment, stakeholder management, small‑scale construction projects, and compliance.

What You'll Be Doing as Construction Manager:
Tenant Coordination & Compliance- Main point of contact for tenants and internal teams on all fit‑outs
- Review and approve designs and technical drawings in line with URW standards
- Ensure compliance with construction, technical, sustainability and safety requirements
- Conduct unit handovers and final inspections
- Manage small renovation and fit‑out projects end‑to‑end
- Prepare cost estimates and feasibility checks
- Coordinate contractors and suppliers, ensuring quality, timelines and budget are met
- Review and challenge design and execution plans
- Run tender processes and negotiate contractor agreements
- Maintain accurate project documentation, budgets and progress reports
- Record technical agreements with tenants
- Collaborate with Leasing, Technical Management, Development, Legal and Centre Management
- Build strong relationships with national and international tenants
- Lead progress updates and help resolve issues between URW, tenants and contractors
- HBO/WO degree in Construction or a similar technical field.
- Experience in retail construction, fit-out projects, or technical project management.
- Strong technical assessment skills and insight into construction execution.
- Experience with cost estimation and financial insight for small construction projects.
- Experience supervising contractors and working in a dynamic retail environment.
- Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.

Salary: 50000 – 70000 EUR / YEAR
