The role of the Process & Project Enabler/IT Continuity Manager is within the Center of Excellence(CoE) IT Control & Service Management which is part of our (IT) 1Global organization.As IT Continuity Manager, you are the point of contact within IT C&SM for the IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) process.
In this role you manage the risks that could seriously impact IT services. You ensure that the IT service provider can always provide minimum agreed Service Levels, by reducing the risk from disaster events to an acceptable level and planning for the recovery of IT services.ITSCM should be designed to support Business Continuity Management.
You work together with a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external. You do this also in close collaboration with IT collegues in the other regions we are located in (AP and US).
Your job
Job Responsibilities:
- You own and maintain the IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) Process and that templates are designed and maintained for the Disaster Recovery Plans and Service Continuity Plans and Test reports.
- You take care that Disaster Recovery Plans and Service Continuity Plans are created, tested and evaluated by the responsible and relevant 1Global blocks to ensure that IT systems can recover after a disaster. And also that they support the overall Business Continuity Plans of the AACB organization.
- You take care that the 1Global blocks report on the outcome of the testing results.
- You ensure the IT Service Continuity documentation is regularly reviewed and maintained.
- You liaise with Architects, Service Delivery Managers, Platform- & Product GRID blocks/Product Owners about IT Service Continuity.
- You work closely with other ITIL managers such as the Incident & Problem manager.
- You produce periodic reports upon request, monitoring the health of the IT Disaster Recovery / failover services, identifying issues and remediation activities.
- You give direction and train the 1Global blocks on the area of IT Service Continuity Management.
- You initiate the design and development of a IT Service Continuity Management dashboard and monitor & report the consumability of ITSCM in 1Global.
- You collaborate and cooperate with IT teams and individuals across the globe on various initiative, projects and tasks.
Working environment
In your role as IT Continuity Manager you are member of the Center of Excellence (CoE) team called IT Control & Service Management. This CoE is part the 1Global organization which includes IT and Business specialists around the globe. The 1Global organization consists of the Product GRID (mainly responsible for software development, maintenance and DevOps support), the Platform GRID (mainly responsible for developing and maintaining our on-prem and cloud-based infrastructure environments) and 3 CoE's (IT Control & Service Management, IT Architecture and IT Security).Most of the work done in the 1Global organization is done in an Agile way.
Prioritization of work and project-related budget allocation is done on high-level via the QBR (Quarterly Business Review) process and meetings.
Your role is in the IT Service Management team. The Service Management team is mainly responsible for ITIL process management (Incident Mngt, Change Mngt, Problem Mngt, Asset Mngt, IT Continuity Mngt, ...), performance management, monitoring & audit, Chain control, service agreements and escalation management (e.g. Group SLAs standards, IGAs).
In your role you work closely together with IT SM colleagues, PO's, IT Engineers, IT Platform Engineers and Business Developers in both the Product and Platform GRID. And you also work together with colleagues in the other CoEs and in other regions (AP and US).
Your profile
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree or equivalent degree/experience.
- 7 to 10 years of working experience in an IT Service Management environment.
- Minimum of 3 years of IT Service Continuity Management experience.
- Certifications:
- ITIL v3/4 Practitioner => required
- BCM Essentials ICT Professionals - (BCMICT) (or similar) => required
- Certified ITSCM Professional - (CITSMP) (or similar) => required
- Experience working in a regulated and/or financial and/or IT industry preferred.
- Hands on experience leading IT Disaster Recovery Test Simulations / Teams is essential.
Key Competencies:
- As we are a global company, global collaboration and communication is key (incidentally also outside EU business hours).
- Familiarity of IT best practices, particularly in the financial services industry.
- Knowledge of information management and of IT systems, processes, and regulations.
- Your nature is to take the lead and act in the driver seat, not waiting until others tell you what to do.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of an organization, including senior management/stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail & documentation required.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with Atlassian Products (Jira, Confluence) and/or ServiceNow a plus.

- A gross monthly salary between € 5,681 and € 8,115 based on a 40-hour working week (but a 36-hour working week is also possible) depending on your working experience.

- You get an extra €1.000 a year to spend on education (and extra options are available on department level as well).
