Lead, Content Strategy

Lead Content Strategy owns the end-to-end development of our partner facing digital content narratives and strategies by connecting our business goals with the goals of our partners focused on delivering integrated, full funnel partner content experiences focused on guiding our accommodation partners in operating and growing their performance on our platform.
The goal of the Lead Content Strategy is to drive commercial impact, by delivering aligned content strategies by creating narratives focused on turning our products and service portfolios into understandable and actionable contexts for our audiences.
Key Job Responsibilities and Duties- Scope: Own the overarching content strategy and definition of partner facing narratives resulting in partner centric content experiences that drive partner satisfaction and product adoption and decrease our support tickets.
- Performance / impact: Own the performance targets focussed on the engagement and impact KPI's for the Digital Partner content team and provide insights and actions on the annual business targets.
- Backlog Management: Manage and prioritize a backlog of hypotheses and projects based on their business impact and the impact on the partners, ensuring timely delivery and efficient allocation of resources.
- Project Management: Lead complex projects, ensuring alignment with stakeholder goals and partner needs while managing dependencies and barriers. This involves fostering collaboration and alignment across teams, communicating outcomes and learnings to stakeholders, and validating, monitoring project results to drive continuous improvement.
- Drive Innovation: Collaborate with content creation and management teams to drive improvements and innovation based on hypothesis testing, user requirements, pain-point identification and validation, leading to continuous learning and improvement in content strategy and associated tactics.
- Collaboration: Effectively achieve your impact drivers within the scope of responsibility by fostering enhanced stakeholder collaboration. This involves actively engaging with and gaining the support of key stakeholders, ensuring their alignment with performance indicators and goals to drive meaningful outcomes.
- Analytics: Conduct (basic) analysis of performance, commercial and market data to derive commercial insights and define hypotheses.
- Authority: Be seen as an authority in your craft by sharing knowledge and insights, thereby making your impact visible and positioning oneself as an expert within the business. This involves guiding, consulting, educating, and supporting team members within and outside the department.
- Voice of the Partner: Serve as the voice of partners within the organization, advocating for their needs and perspectives.
Role Qualifications and Requirements:
- 5+ years of work experience in Marketing, Digital Marketing or Content Marketing
- Proven track record of using customer insights (in our case partner insights) to understand our partners.
- Data literacy and the ability to use data to build actionable insights.
- Experience working in a sizable marketing environment, preferably in a multinational B-to-B context.
- Business acumen to quickly understand Booking’s objectives, and key results, partner and consumer perspectives as well as the way all parts of the company work together to realize our ambitions.
- Strong and resilient team player with a high degree of flexibility, problem-solving and positive communication that motivates and influences the achievement of team objectives.
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently. High performer with the ability to manage parallel tracks and expectations for project scope changes, seeing intersection points, and mitigating risks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that changes rapidly
- Self-starter with the ability to collaborate across teams and parts of the organisation to deliver results.
