What you’ll be doing

The Senior Marketing & Communications Specialist will keep the users at the center of everything we do, translating user needs into benefit-focused communication. The ideal candidate will go beyond simply selling by focusing on values and ethics and creating meaningful value for the user. As a Senior Marketing & Communications Specialist, you will work in a multi-person team and use lean and agile marketing techniques. This role will be responsible for:

Strategy - You will develop and implement effective marketing strategies for various channels and audiences. This will involve researching and reporting market trends, user behavior, competitors, and industry best practices.

Campaign Execution - You will lead the development and execution of marketing campaigns, driving engagement and business growth while improving yield over time. Overseeing every stage of campaign development, from ideation to execution and measurement, you will work cross-functionally with stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of marketing materials and assets required for campaigns.

Channel Management - You will work closely with product marketers and cross-functional teams to maintain AssistiveWare’s external communication channels (social media, websites, email). You will help promote webinars and events. With the help of the Marketing & Communications Team Lead, to whom this role reports, you will maintain consistent marketing messages and branding across all channels and platforms.

Market Research - You will recruit and conduct user interviews to understand our target users’ buying journeys and pain points. You will also keep informed of, evaluate, and adopt industry best practices and standards, and experiment with new ideas, formats, and approaches.

In addition to being an effective communicator who can connect with various audiences and stakeholders, you have exceptionally strong collaboration skills, the ability to foster teamwork, and strong stakeholder management skills.

Requirements
  • At minimum Masters degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in content marketing, digital marketing, or a similar role
  • Fluent in English, proficiency in other languages a plus
  • Excellent communication skills; a collaborative, results-oriented team player
  • A proven track record of successfully executing marketing campaigns and strategies
  • Expertise in storytelling and a strong narrative development skills
  • Experience with lean and agile marketing practices
