As a Systems Test Engineer within the Image Guided Therapy (IGT) Systems business at Philips, where we believe that every innovation should make a meaningful difference to peoples lives you'll play a vital role in ensuring our solutions meet the highest standards of reliability, safety, and performance.
In this role, you'll contribute to the Azurion platform (a state-of-the-art interventional system) used worldwide for cardiac and vascular diagnosis and treatment. Youll focus on the Positioning domain, ensuring precise, safe, and intuitive control of complex imaging systems that enable life-saving clinical procedures.
Within this exciting role you will be challenged to:
Design, implement, and execute both manual and automated test strategies, ensuring new product introductions (NPI)and software releases perform exactly as intended and get an opportunity to working closely with cross-functional teams in development, validation, and manufacturing, you'll help deliver innovations that make a real impact in hospitals around the world.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
- Review and implement the Product Verification Plan, defining the best manual and automated testing approaches.
- Translate requirements and design documents into clear, maintainable, and reproducible test cases.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using modern tools and techniques such as:
-C#, Gherkin, SpecFlow, NUnit, and AI/ML-based frameworks.
-Apply risk-based testing strategies that align with medical device regulations (e.g. FDA, ISO).- Analyze and interpret test results, ensuring robust system integration and verification outcomes.
- Provide proactive feedback to design and development teams to continuously improve product quality.
- Contribute to the enhancement of automation frameworks, tools, and verification processes.
- Promote best practices in testing and automation, and support colleagues in adopting them effectively.
- Collaborate across development, validation, service, and manufacturing functions to ensure smooth system integration and delivery.

Your bring along with you:
- You hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Technology, Software Development, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- You have 2+ years of experience in manual and automated system testing, ideally in complex, regulated environments such as medical devices, aerospace, or automotive.
- You are skilled in test automation and scripting, using tools such as: C#, Gherkin, SpecFlow, NUnit.
- Knowledge of FDA or ISO medical device standards is a strong plus.
