Summary – basic function of the role
Our team had place for an experienced IT Service Desk Analyst to provide comprehensive IT support. This role will involve troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and maintaining systems, and resolving support incidents. You will work closely with the Global IT team and be responsible for ensuring user satisfaction by providing timely and effective solutions.The position reports to the IT Director and involves tasks such as user account management, hardware replacements, and coordination with third-party support providers.
Job Duties and Responsibilities- Handle IT support requests via phone, email, walk-ups, and Teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Level 1 and 2 incidents related to hardware and software.
- Maintain and update IT Service Desk documentation and knowledge base.
- Liaise with end-users, IT staff, and external vendors for issue resolution.
- Perform user training, manage IT asset replacements, and oversee phone system maintenance.
- Administer new user accounts, process leavers, and support mobile phone orders.
- A degree in a relevant direction, e.g. Bachelor’s degree in IT.
- IT certifications (preferred).
- Proven experience in IT support, particularly with Windows OS and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong technical skills in desktop systems, PC hardware, and software.
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
