How we work
Central to our success is our Club model, which enables us to provide localised and personal service to clients, whilst delivering the expertise and clout of a large company. Our Clubs run both independently of each other, and collaborate within the Hub regions to support our clients and provide a range of opportunities for work for our ANDis on client engagements.
The People Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting the management team in delivering a remarkable people experience that enables business success.
As a pivotal support to the management team, the People Operations Coordinator works closely with the BU Lead and Client Services to support the overall success of each Club and the Hub as a whole, through driving both operational and strategic activities that ensure that the people strategy underpins the business objectives.
Your role
The People Operations Coordinator supports the smooth running of the employee lifecycle processes across the Dutch offices in Amsterdam and Rotterdam, ensuring compliance with Dutch labor law and AND Digital internal policies. You will be responsible for administrative people activities, first-line people support, and accurate people data management, contributing to an excellent employee experience.
People Administration:
- Manage onboarding and off-boarding processes, including employment contracts, induction coordination, and termination documentation.
- Maintain and update systems ensuring data accuracy.
- Prepare employment documentation (contracts, contract amendments, addenda) in line with Dutch employment law.
- Support with Work Council communications and documentation where needed.
Payroll and Benefits Administration:
- Collect and verify monthly payroll input (salary changes, bonuses, leave, sick leave) and liaise with payroll providers.
- Administer employee benefits (e.g., pension plans, health insurance) and liaise with external providers.
Employee Relations Support:
- Act as a first point of contact for people queries related to policies, absence management, and employment conditions.
- Ensure engaging communication to update teams on business and people news, organising monthly update meetings and social gatherings.
- Support case management processes, including documenting sick leave per Wet verbetering poortwachter requirements.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure people practices comply with Dutch labor legislation (e.g., Arbeidsomstandighedenwet, Wet arbeid en zorg).
- Prepare people reports and analytics (headcount, turnover, absenteeism) for internal stakeholders.
- Assist with audits and ensure document archiving is compliant with GDPR regulations.
HR Projects and Initiatives:
- Support people initiatives including diversity and inclusion, wellbeing programs, and learning activities.
- Participate in the development and continuous improvement of processes and policies in collaboration with the wider Talent Team.
- HBO or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Significant previous HR administrative or operations experience, within a Dutch company.
- Experience supporting payroll and benefits processes in the Netherlands is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of Dutch labor law, social security regulations, and HR best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy in administrative tasks.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
- Fluent in Dutch and English (both written and spoken).
- Discreet and professional handling of confidential information.
- Customer-focused mindset with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
