Senior Backend Developer (Kotlin, Kafka, Spring Boot)

This is how you will reinvent food retail:
- You’ll have big responsibility as you work on innovative solutions for four of our key messaging channels for customers: in-app, push, email, and app inbox, supporting both marketing and operational messaging.
- You’ll collaborate on combining vendor tools with custom-built solutions and drive the development of a robust data foundation to support automation and efficient processes for our stakeholders.
- You’ll work with technologies like Kotlin, Spring Boot, Kafka, MongoDB, ArgoCD and Grafana observability stack (LGTM)
Together with your team (3 backenders, 1 Android, 1 iOS, 3 PL-SQL, 1 QA and finally a PO), you will work on inspiring projects to accelerate our transition into a hybrid Food & Tech company. Your team is responsible for the technology behind our communication streams to our customers regarding operational messages (f.e after placing an order) and marketing messages.
In the near future, we will be working hard to ensure that we can orchestrate marketing campaigns based on the data we have. We want to leverage data and technology to future-proof food shopping and give our customers the accessibility to healthy food more easily available for everyone.

- At least 8+ years of work experience as a DevOps engineer focused on backend development (Kotlin);
- Knowledge of Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture, Cloud and DevOps;
- Strong knowledge of service design, integrating with 3rd parties, and observability;
- You enjoy teamwork and making things happen together and improve existing tech;
- You’re tech savvy, pro-active and have a big passion for tech.
Bonus points if you:
- Have experience with Kafka and MongoDB;
- If you have experience with building software for marketing campaigns;
