Internship - Digital Transformation
Internship – Digital Transformation
The internship
Are you passionate about tech? Curious about how it can help our Commerce activity be more efficient? Do you have an entrepreneur mindset and strong communication skills?! Then we are looking for you!
As a valued member of the Heineken Global Procurement Commerce and Business Services team – you will be working in a product team that is developing and deploying an e-Shop for Point of Sales Materials (POSM). This e-Shop includes a variety of POS materials – fridges, parasols, outdoor signs, glasses and many others. Our key customers – Commerce (Trade marketing, Brand) and Procurement departments need to source the right POSM from the best suppliers, to promote and serve our products.
With the e-Shop, we aim to simplify that sourcing experience, empowering teams across the globe to shop POSM the same way they would shop online for their personal needs, sharing best practices across brands and markets, benchmarking POSM prices and supplier capabilities whilst driving sustainable purchase behaviours.
The e-Shop has already been launched in 20 countries, but our ambition is to go big in 2026, reaching 70 countries and at least €200m worth of transaction within it.
This e-Shop is being built in what we called an Agile manner – developing and deploying the e-Shop in incremental steps, taking into consideration the feedback from the users as we go. That process is being managed by a ‘product team’ led by a Product Owner (PO), who you will be work with.
During your internship, you will be supporting the PO with the deployment of the e-shop globally, engaging and collaborating with the users to ensure adoption, through exciting communication, clear value proposition and turning pain points into solutions that can be subsequently turned into functionalities for the e-Shop as we continue to improve it.
More concretely you will:
- Set up the communication plan in support of the deployment of the e-Shop in 50 new countries
- Track the progress of the deployment and adoption metrics (dashboard available)
- Manage a strong community of practice – facilitating learn-share-reapply across countries (using all channels available / or new ones you deem relevant)
- Collect user feedback and identify new features to develop within the e-Shop
- Analyse e-Shop usage and identify new opportunities
Of course, always with the guidance that is right for you.
