Functie- Ensure a smooth and well‑controlled month‑end close by preparing key financial data and supporting the finalisation of country accounts.
- Take ownership of daily General Ledger processes
- including building accruals, managing prepayments, calculating rates, posting journals, and maintaining concession fees and fixed assets
- ensuring accuracy and consistency across all records.
- Work closely with Controlling, Country Controllers, and local stakeholders to align financial inputs, resolve discrepancies, and bring monthly results to completion.
- Manage the preparation and submission of VAT declarations for local operations, ensuring full compliance and timely execution.
- Contribute to the reliability of reporting cycles by identifying process gaps, proposing improvements, and helping standardise workflows across different countries.
- Act as a trusted link between the Shared Service Centre and the wider organisation, ensuring that financial insight supports operational decision‑making.
Profiel
You're someone who enjoys making sense of numbers and bringing structure to financial processes. With a bachelor's degree in Economics and 2-5 years of experience in a similar role, you know your way around accounting fundamentals and feel confident working in a dynamic, multi‑country environment.You're comfortable in a Shared Service Centre setting, and experience with SAP, Oracle or Navision helps you move easily through complex systems.You work efficiently with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and you like keeping data clean, accurate and reliable.
You thrive in multicultural surroundings, enjoy collaborating across departments, and communicate clearly with stakeholders from different countries.
