Functie

As the HR Business Partner, you hold full responsibility for HR support across the Amsterdam site. You serve as the primary HR contact for managers and employees and manage the complete HR operations workflow.

• Acting as a trusted advisor for managers
• Supporting talent management, performance, and leadership development
• Translating and implementing corporate HR policies locally
• Contributing to strategic workforce planning
• Leading by example and driving a proactive HR mindset

• Managing the full employee lifecycle: contracts, onboarding, performance, offboarding
• Coordinating sickness absence and return‑to‑work processes
• Serving as key contact for the occupational health provider
• Managing interactions with the Works Council (OR)
• Ensuring compliance with Dutch labour law and internal procedures
• AFAS Experiences is a plus

• Supporting global HR initiatives and ensuring local alignment
• Working closely with the Payroll Administrator and current HR Manager
• Collaborating with HR stakeholders across the international matrix organization

Profiel

A successful SENIOR HR BP should have:

• Brings 5+ years of HR experience, ideally gained in a production or industrial environment
• Has proven experience working within an international matrix organization
• Communicates confidently in Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing
• Experienced in working with the Works Council (OR) and handling formal consultations
• Strong capability in sickness absence management and liaising with occupational health providers
• Proficient with AFAS and comfortable managing HR processes in digital systems
• Acts with seniority, ownership, and decisiveness
• Able to shift quickly in a fast‑paced production environment with changing priorities
• Has the ambition and readiness to grow into the HR Manager role within 1-2 years and operate at MT level

• Clear and structured growth path toward HR Manager and Management Team membership within 1-2 years
• Competitive salary range of €5,017 - €6,847 per month (based on a 38‑hour workweek)
• 25 vacation days + 12 ADV days
• 13th‑month bonus and a solid pension scheme
• A one‑year contract with the intention of permanent employment
• A high degree of autonomy, responsibility, and freedom to shape HR locally
• Hybrid expectations: 5‑day availability with 4 days on‑site at the Amsterdam production location
