Core Purpose of the Role
As a Regional Sales Manager at Unilabs, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and executing commercial strategies in your region. You will lead and coach a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal performance, deliver on revenue targets, and strengthen customer relationships.This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on leadership, commercial acumen, and a passion for healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Revenue Achievement- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve or exceed revenue targets.
- Analyze sales performance data and make informed adjustments to optimize results.
- Drive the implementation of commercial initiatives and ensure efficient resource use.
- Monitor sales progress and lead tactical improvements as needed.
- Provide daily leadership and coaching to account managers, service managers, and commercial office staff.
- Facilitate ongoing training in medical content, sales techniques, and professional behavior.
- Cultivate a high-performance, collaborative culture within the team.
- Design and implement individual development plans to promote growth and performance.
- Track and report sales activity progress and results to the Head of Commerce.
- Use KPIs and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of commercial strategies.
- Prepare performance-based insights and improvement recommendations.
- Ensure clear and transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Align regional commercial plans with broader organizational goals.
- Identify market trends and competitive shifts to inform long-term strategy.
- Lead structured execution of strategic initiatives, including progress monitoring.
- Drive innovation in sales approaches and process improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and business partners.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
- Represent Unilabs in customer engagements and industry networks.
- Take proactive steps to ensure customer satisfaction and address concerns.
- Conduct continuous market analysis to adapt strategy and seize growth opportunities.
- Gather and share market intelligence to support commercial planning.
- Recommend best practices and innovations to enhance Unilabs' market position.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (HBO/WO) in Business, Commercial Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in sales leadership, preferably in healthcare or diagnostics.
- Strong understanding of healthcare sales strategies, market trends, and relevant regulations.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic sales plans.
- Capable of operating autonomously while effectively managing and motivating teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability.
