who are you
To keep the warehouse running smoothly, it's important that you, as a warehouse employee and dispatcher, meet the following requirements:
- You have your own transportation to Poeldijk;
- You have experience as a warehouse worker;
- You are available 5 days a week from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM;
- You speak Dutch or English.
- You are at least 18 years old.
what will you do ...
As a warehouse employee, you'll primarily work at night so the drivers can deliver their goods on time early in the morning. You'll perform two types of duties: partly administratively, checking all orders and paperwork, receiving frozen goods from Schiedam, and ensuring everything is correct.Most of your work will take place in the freezer. Because you'll be working all night in the cold, you need to be physically fit. In the freezer, you'll work as a "delivery driver": you'll carefully pick all orders using trolleys and place them in the correct location for the trucks, ensuring the trucks are loaded correctly.
Your work consists of receiving goods, preparing orders for drivers, and checking everything.
- You prepare all orders for the drivers;
- You must be physically capable of lifting;
- You check all orders and paperwork. If you find any errors, you resolve them yourself.

Bidfood is a wholesaler in the food service industry. Currently, Bidfood has 16 locations across the Netherlands and a team of 1,700 employees, serving 25,000 different customers!
Regular surcharges: 00:00 - 04:00: 50% surcharge
10:00 - 17:00: 25% surcharge.Saturday between 17:00 - 24:00 and Sunday: 100% surcharge.
Surcharges for working in the cold:Between 0 and 7 degrees Celsius: €0.53 gross per hour worked.
Between 0 and -18 degrees Celsius: €1.22 gross per hour worked.
- Please note: You work every other week. One week you work full-time from Sunday evening to Saturday morning. The following week you have a day off (it is possible to work two days during your week off).
- Regular surcharges: 00:00
- 04:00: 50% extra, 04:00
- 06:00: 25%, 19:00
- 22:00: 25%, and 22:00
- 00:00: 50%.
- 22:00: 100% extra.
- Surcharges for working in the cold: Between 0 and 7 degrees Celsius: €0.55 gross per hour worked. Between 0 and -18 degrees Celsius: €1.26 gross per hour worked.
