Location: North Brabant, with occasional travel to Utrecht.

Functie

In this role as Category Manager a.i. you will:

• Develop and implement category strategies for assigned product groups.
• Analyze markets, trends, and supplier performance.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and partnerships.
• Manage contracts, compliance, and total cost of ownership (TCO).
• Optimize collaboration between purchasing, operations, engineering, and sales.
• Monitor and report on KPIs, savings, and performance.
• Contribute to international procurement projects.

Profiel

• HBO+/WO working and thinking level (e.g., Commercial Economics, Industrial Engineering & Management).
• NEVI 1 and 2 or equivalent certifications.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in tactical/strategic procurement.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., JDE), Excel, and contract management.
• Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written).
• Analytical, persuasive, independent, and collaborative mindset.

• Start date: ASAP
• Assignment until the end of the year
• 32-40h per week
• Hybrid working is possible
