Functie

In this role as Interim Procurement Category Manager you will be focusing on:

  • Category Ownership: Drive the commercial success of the Paper & Mailing category by developing and executing category strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Pricing Strategy: Set and monitor pricing structures to optimize margin and competitiveness, while maintaining alignment with procurement and commercial objectives.
  • Supplier Management: Lead negotiations and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to secure the best terms, availability, and product quality.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Merchandising, Marketing, and Sales to align category strategy with go-to-market plans and promotional activities.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor category performance through KPIs and market data, adjusting plans proactively to ensure continued growth and profitability.
  • Sustainability & Compliance: Ensure all sourcing activities are aligned with the company's sustainability targets and ethical procurement standards.

Profiel

For this role as Interim Procurement Category Manager:

  • Proven experience in Procurement with a focus on Category Management.
  • Strong commercial knowledge and strategic thinking.
  • Experience managing product categories in a dynamic, multi-supplier environment.
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to drive procurement decisions.
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
