Functie- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and retention.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer processes, needs, and challenges to offer tailored chemical solutions.
- Provide technical support and product recommendations, working closely with R&D and technical service teams.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned territory or market segment.
- Prepare and deliver product presentations, technical demonstrations, and proposals.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., supply chain, customer service, production) to ensure timely delivery and issue resolution.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform product and service improvements.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the regional sales strategy.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Approximately 2 years of experience in technical sales, account management, or customer-facing commercial roles - preferably in the chemical, industrial, or manufacturing sectors.
- Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn about complex chemical applications.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to identify and convert opportunities.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working both independently and in a team.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region (approx. 20-40%).
- Fluent in Dutch and English required.
