Junior Data Scientist (Operations)
Your day is done—you’ve pushed your code, and it’s already been reviewed and merged. The next day you have training as part of the Albert Heijn Data Talent Track. Now it’s time to grab some groceries on the way home. Walking through the refrigerated aisles of your local Albert Heijn store, you spot a great bargain—salad leaves marked down to 70%, thanks to a dynamic discount model you helped develop, ensuring products sell before expiration and avoiding waste.
As you walk towards the bakery department, the aroma of freshly baked goods fills the air. You take pride in knowing that your optimized baking plan is behind the freshness and quality of these products. Stepping out onto the street you realize that it’s not just your local store—these models run in more than a thousand stores across the Netherlands and Belgium.
