Internship: Strategic Partnerships & Business Development at BOAS Save Fashion For Good
Help us to stop the dumping of fashion by making the fashion industry real circular — one killer partnership at a time.
BOAS is looking for a driven, outgoing, and diplomatic intern to support our founder in building high-impact partnerships. From launching our franchise formula to helping brands embrace resale, you’ll play a key role in making secondhand the new black.
About BOAS
BOAS is THE fast vintage fashion platform saving high-quality clothes from being burned or dumped. Every year, over 100 billion garments are produced — and more than 60% ends up in landfills or incinerated within a year. Fashion has become one of the most polluting industries on the planet, responsible for up to 10% of global carbon emissions.
We’re here to turn that around.
We rescue secondhand, overstock, and returns and turn them into unique, circular statement pieces — sold through our stores and webshop. On top of that we donate 90% of profits to the most effective charities in the world.
Our mission: Save fashion for good
We believe circularity should be the norm and never go out of fashion. So we're working to scale fast — through franchise opportunities and by partnering with fashion brands to set up in-store vintage corners that make resale relevant, stylish, and accessible.
Tasks
What will you do?
You’ll work closely with our founder to develop strategic collaborations and expand the BOAS footprint:
- Initiate and lead conversations with fashion brands and retailers to introduce secondhand to their customers in the form of curated vintage corners — making the case for secondhand as a driver of sustainability, engagement, and customer loyalty.
- Scout and onboard potential franchise partners who want to launch their own BOAS location.
- Use insights and storytelling (yes, even clotheslines full of fashion’s dirty laundry) to challenge industry norms and show the beauty of circular fashion.
- Support the development of business cases, pitch decks and outreach strategies.
- Conduct market research on resale, franchise retail, and sustainability trends in Europe and beyond.
- Help organize meetings, pilots, and pop-up activations that bring the BOAS vision to life.
- Build and manage a network of sustainable retailers, innovators, and impact partners.
Requirements
Who are you?- A natural communicator who loves connecting with people — from fashionbrand owners to corporate sustainability leads.
- Strategic and curious: you understand what motivates people and businesses.
- Entrepreneurial and proactive — you’re not afraid to contact, go to events, follow up, or try new angles.
- Passionate about sustainability, circular fashion, and changing how the industry works.
- Fluent in Dutch (English is a plus).
- You’re not just looking for an internship — you want to be part of a mission.
Bonus points if you:
- Study or have studied business, marketing, innovation, or sustainability.
- Have experience in business development, sales, or retail partnerships.
- Are interested in fashion-tech innovations (like our resale robot VNYX 👀).
