Inspection Engineer

Be the expert in inspections that keep global food systems running safely and efficiently.
As an Inspection Engineer, you’ll be a vital part of our Customer Care team within the In Container Sterilization (ICS) division. You’ll be on the frontline of ensuring our sterilization systems deliver safety, reliability, and long-term value for our global food processing customers.
What You’ll Be Doing- Perform in-depth inspections of mechanical and functional systems on In Container Sterilizers (ICS) at customer locations
- Diagnose performance issues and assess equipment alignment with customer production goals and safety standards
- Generate detailed inspection reports with actionable recommendations for retrofits, preventive maintenance, or upgrades
- Advise and align with customers, presenting your findings and improvement proposals in a clear, consultative manner
- Coordinate follow-up actions with internal teams to implement maintenance or retrofit solutions based on your assessments
- Support hands-on installations and commissioning of new ICS equipment or retrofit packages during non-inspection periods
- Deliver on-site training and technical guidance to customer teams to ensure safe operation and system optimization
- A background in engineering (mechanical or electrical preferred) — through education and practical experience
- Familiarity with inspection techniques, mechanical assemblies, and quality control practices
- Working knowledge of control systems (experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens S7, or TIA Portal is a plus)
- Previous experience conducting field inspections and writing clear, data-driven reports
- Comfort working with international customers and cross-functional teams
- Availability to travel globally up to 70% of the time
- Strong English communication skills (Dutch, French, or Spanish is a bonus)
