Wat ga je doen?

As a DevOps Engineer in the Data & Automation (DNA) team within the Oracle department, you are responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining infrastructure automation. You’ll work with tools like Ansible, Python, Azure Pipelines and help shape our CI/CD strategy.

You play a key role in automating the provisioning, configuration, and deployment of our Oracle platform and ensure that our infrastructure is not only scalable and secure — but also future-proof. You collaborate with developers, testers, and security experts to embed automation into every process.

Your tasks include:

• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Python and other modern tools
• Automating infrastructure and deployments (with Ansible and Ansible Tower)
• Monitoring system performance, availability, and security
• Supporting integration of your solutions into the bank’s infrastructure
• Mentoring and guiding other teams in their automation journey
• Troubleshooting and solving issues related to infrastructure and deployments

Where will you be working?

You’ll join a highly skilled DevOps team within the bank’s Oracle department. The environment is dynamic, with a strong focus on innovation, security, and compliance. You’ll work in a hybrid setting — partly from home, partly on-site in Utrecht.

Wat wij vragen:

• Minimum hbo level or equivalent ability
• Solid experience with Ansible and Ansible Tower;
• Programming experience in Python and familiarity with Pytest;
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure Pipelines);
• A strong understanding of RedHat/Oracle Linux, networking, and system security;
• Familiarity with development tools (VSCode, Git) and test automation;
• Preferably experience with Oracle databases.
