D2X is looking for a Trading Operations Intern to join its office in Amsterdam!
What we do
D2X launched the first regulated crypto derivatives exchange in a Tier 1 jurisdiction, operational 7 days a week. The exchange features cash-settled BTC-EUR and ETH-EUR Calendar Futures and plans to expand into USD-denominated Futures and Options over the coming year.Operating out of the Netherlands, D2X holds an MTF license (MiFID II) and has raised over €16 million from strategic investors including Point72, Flow Traders and GSR. D2X Group N.V. was incorporated in 2021 in Amsterdam with the ambition to pioneer next-generation market infrastructure.

Trading Operations at D2X
As a member of Trading Operations, you own our market from open to close and play a key role in feature delivery across the business. Your three main pillars will be:
- Client Onboarding & Integration
- Technical integration of new trading firms and software vendors
- Exchange API configuration, sandbox testing and go-live support
- Product Development & Testing
- Define and test new platform features from inception through production
- Own quality metrics and drive continuous improvements in trading, post-trade and more
- Market Monitoring & Incident Management
- Round-the-clock surveillance of core applications and trading activity
- Triage, escalate and resolve incidents in partnership with Technology, Risk, and Compliance teams
- Assist in monitoring and supporting our mission-critical production systems and processes
- Helping in responding to incidents and coordinating their resolution
- Assist participants in all trading-related and functional inquiries
- Support to technical integrations and related projects
- Collaborate to develop and maintain strong relationships with exchange participants and vendors
- Contribute to driving process improvements and workflow efficiency to optimize our operations and enhance the participant experience
- Create and maintain clear and concise documentation to support our internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
Your Skill Set- Recent graduate or final year for a university degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
- Interest in the financial industry and enthusiastic about digital assets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Available for 40 hours/week
