Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of complex vehicle development projects. Your role will be critical in aligning cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality project outcomes.

• Lead the planning, scoping, and execution of vehicle development projects.
• Define clear project goals, KPIs, and timelines, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
• Identify project risks early, develop mitigation plans, and manage escalations.
• Track project performance, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Manage and mentor a team of project managers and assistant project managers.
• Build strong working relationships across multiple departments and business units.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and reports to senior management.
• Oversee and control project budgets (OPEX & CAPEX), and facilitate executive approvals.
• Collaborate closely with the Global Powertrain Organization and other international stakeholders.
• Lead initiatives to continuously improve tools, processes, and communication strategies.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to ensure DAF remains at the forefront of innovation.

Education & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering (or equivalent).
• 15+ years of experience in engineering within a product development organization.
• 5+ years of successful project management experience, ideally IPMA-certified or similar.
