[ref. c6214817] IT Support Engineer (junior) - Veenendaal
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Junior internal IT Support Engineer at HSO. The role is located in Rotterdam or Veenendaal, with the flexibility for some work from home. The Junior IT Support Engineer will the first point of contact for technical support, system administration, troubleshooting, and help desk support on a daily basis.
What will you do- Act as the first point of contact for internal users (colleagues), providing technical support via phone, email, and ticketing systems;
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues;
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing laptops, accounts, and access rights;
- Monitor and manage IT assets and maintain accurate inventory records;
- Align on a daily basis with your peers, and on a weekly basis with the broader NL-IT team;
- Participate in challenging local and global changes and internal IT projects (e.g. tenant migrations, office renovations, and cybersecurity initiatives).
About the team
In addition to being part of the local IT team of HSO Netherlands, you will also join HSO's global IT team, called Group IT. Together, we ensure the continuity of our entire IT infrastructure as well as the support of individual end users. Within this team of seasoned experts across various disciplines, you can count on excellent support and numerous opportunities for development.
Requirements
What you bring to the role- Bachelor's degree in Business & IT, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong English language skills, and speaking Dutch is a bonus
- Certifications in relevant IT areas, preferably related to Microsoft products
- Technical Support and Information Technology skills
- Troubleshooting and System Administration skills
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
